Does my daughter have Chickenpox?!

Question: Does my daughter have Chickenpox!?
There has been chicken pox going around her nursery!.
She has not been ill at all, not even a sniffle however when she got up at 6 this morning I noticed 2 Really red, raised blister type spots, one on her tummy and one on her back, since then Ive noticed some smaller (but still raised slightly) spots appearing on her back, under her chin and a couple on her chest!.!.!.does this sound like the begginings of chicken pox!?
If so should I take her to the GP!?
Anyone got any tips on how to stop her scratching!? (she is 3 and will not wear gloves/mittens/socks!. I know about piriton and calamine lotion)
Many thanks for your help in advance!. 10 points to best answerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Phone up your GP and get her in this morning it does sound like the start of chicken pox, calamine lotion is really your best bet! Hope she feels better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take her to the gp just in case!. I had the same with my 3 year old daughter last year and the nursery would rather you had her checked than took her in and infected the rest of the kids! Better than calamine lotion is calamine oil, you can get it from most pharmacists, it doesn't leave white marks and can be put in the bath with them too to soothe the itching!. luke warm baths regularly help treat it too!. other than nagging her that's all you can do i'm afraid!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like chickenpox, the spots appear in groups over several days!. Calamine lotion is your best bet to relieve the itch!. It's best not to allow it to spread by taking her to nursery and remember that older people who have had chickenpox can develop shingles when exposed to the virus again, so keep her away from any elderly rellies too!
Hope she's well soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it does sound like chicken pox!. at least she gets it early rather than later!. u cant really stop her scratching, if shes gonna scratch shes gonna scratch!. if u put the lotion stuff on, that will reduce the itching sensation so she will scratch less!. give her an oatmeal bath (blend dry oatmeal into a fine powder and add 2 cups to the bath water as well as baking soda), trim her nails, and maybe force her to wear mittens!.
there isnt any real need 2 take her 2 the doctors, unless she gets a high fever that wont go down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep, its definitely Chiken Pox!. You'll find calamine lotion is the best!. When u bath her at night, use unperfumed soap/shower cream as the perfumed ones cld sting and start the scratching process!. If its warm in the house, leave her in her underwear, then the clothes wont be irritating the pox either!. Good Luck!. If u have more children let them catch it to so u get it over and done with!. I had my 5 year old, 4 year old and my 3 year old with it at the same time!. I didnt take mine to a dr, there was no need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, the signs show that your daugther has chicken pox!. firstly, if there was chicken pox at your daughters school, then you should leave her at home!
when i had chicken pox (yes, i was around 3 too) My mum had put me in the bathtube filled with water, and a fan blowing at me!. she had put cucumber slices on my body, where there aws chicken pox!. It lasted a few days!.!.!. so horrenous!. Maybe you could take her to get the immunisation for chicken pox!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your pediatrician is probably best to answer this question!.
I remember sleeping throughout my chickenpox experience!. Usually drugs that contain antihistamine (over the counter) is not recommended for children, I'd ask your doc to be sure, if it's safe to administer these drugs to aid in fever reduction and relieve congestion and get a benefit of sleep, which will help prevent scratching!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it does sound like the start of chickenpox!. The only way thing to soothe the scratching is calamine, or maybe a soothing natural homeopathic solution as suggested in below link!. I hope she's soon feeling better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sure sounds like it! Keep her away from pregnant women and home from kindergarten (she probably won't feel like it anyway)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
