Allergic to a non-shedding wet dog?(Poodle)?!
Question: Allergic to a non-shedding wet dog!?(Poodle)!?
For some reason when I give my dog a bath (toy poodle), my throat closes up, I can't breathe and I get hives all over my arms!.
Why!?
Also:
1!.He spends alot of time outside, most of the day and comes in at night!. The lawn in my backyard is short cut, maybe some allergens!. He's an old dog, 15 years old!.
2!. I tried wetting him down completely!. I figured no particles in the air!. Didn't work!.
3!. I wash him in a sink not in but next to the laundry room, and can smell detergent from the sink!. Am I allergic to detergent too!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!.!.!. it's really anyone's guess as to whether you are allergic to the dog, the detergent, or some allergens from outside!. your best bet would really be to make an appointment with an allergist & have them test you!.
