What's this bump on my lower eyelid?!
Question: What's this bump on my lower eyelid!?
I had this bump near my tear duct!. It took awhile to heal but now it's back a week later!. It looks like a zit but I'm not sure!.!.!. maybe an ingrown hair!? I've tried squeezing it, although it hurt terribly, but nothing comes out of it!. It sort of just disappears on it's own!. Is there something I can do to get to heal quicker or avoid this altogether!?
I wear contacts and have worn contacts for the past 15 years but I've never had this until recently!. Maybe I need fresh contacts!? Anyone else heard of something like this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a chalazion or it could be a blocked tear duct!. You need to make an app!. with the eye doctor to get a proper diagnosis!. You could try putting warm compresses on it or a slice of potatoe heated very slighly in microwave!. If it is a chalazion, the heat will help it come to a head!. And there is just something about a potatoe that will draw the gunk out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
not sure but my daughter recently got a bump inside her lower eyelid also her optometrist told me it was called a Chalazion look it up in discovery health it also shows you pictures of it and if it is you need to see an optometrist for antibiotics or surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most likely a stye!.
Go to the local pharmacy and ask for recommendations for a good eye wash!.
Growing up we used a diluted solution of boric acid & water to bathe the eye area in!. Clean the lenses well or get new ones!. The old ones could be contaminated!. That is why it comes back!.

It could be a stye!. There is medicine for it on the health and beauty aisle near the eye drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
