How can you cure strep throat?!
Question: How can you cure strep throat!?
I went to the doctor and they told me I had possitive strep throat, so I went on antibiotics!. Now I'm on the antibiotics, but the pain in my throat is still severe!. I know strep throat is very gradual and you just have to tough it out sometimes, but I just want to know if there are any possible things I can do at home that may cure the aching pain for now!. I tried taking Advil and other over the counter medicines, but it just doesn't seem to be working!. It is so very hard to swallow and when do, the pain is wicked!. I know I may just have to wait for the antibiotics to start working, but do you have any tips!. Any of your tips are greatly apprieciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gargling with salt water and Listerine, alternately can help! Drinking lots of fluids is good too, as is rest! Talk to your dr if you don't feel a lot better in a few days!. It does take time!. Get some good lozenges to suck on too that are numbing, or a spray!.
My daughter had strep 10 times in 1 yr and ultimately had her tonsils out when she was 10 yrs old!. She hasn't had strep since! It was getting ridiculous how often she was sick though and her 3 siblings and my husband and me all ended up catching it too - not as often as her though!. Miserable!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, i can only be honest but my husband has a few beers- why not, it takes the pain away!. Remember, you have to be old enough to drink and be responsible!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it's painful!. Try gargling with warm saltwater (just put salt in water)!. Maybe some tea with lemon!. Eating some popcicles!. Other than that, you just have to wait it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
