I thought it would go away, because being a new mom can cause you to not get any sleep (which is what i heard), but i STILL can't sleep!.!.!.anyone know why!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you answered your own question!.

you are a new mum!.

sleep when you can, and enjoy it while they don't talk backWww@Answer-Health@Com

in my experience (mom since 1/1/08) it seems like the way I sleep is different I use to be able to sleep through noise a bit now it she moves I wake up I think it is a hormonal issue the body seems not to want to let you get real sleep other than some self induced dreaming!. Once she started sleeping through the night (she sleep 10hours straight now) with only 10 to 20 minutes cat naps during the day!. It changed around 4 mo!. old I know how you feel the best advice I got was to wake the baby up after an hour of rest during the day and to just let her sleep at night to get the baby in a regular pattern so you can too to help you sleep if nerves are keeping you up I heard that they monitors that be alarm if the baby stops breathing good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

HI!. I am not a mum but I do have friends who are first time mums!. I guess it has to do with the fact you have a new person in your life-your baby!. Your brain is probably anxious of that and that cause you to be awake because of fear your baby might wake up crying at night!. Anyway, fear not, this will go away with time!. Congrats on your new born baby!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try listening to your favourite bands if you have some whilst trying to sleep (Just faintly) Music causes me to think of other things when i'm trying to sleep and slowly drifts me off, perhaps it could help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
