Question: My Boyfriend Has It!!.!.!. Does That Mean I Could Have It Also!!?!?
Basically:
*My boyfriend recently found out he has mumps!
*Apparently he's had it for 3 days now but didn't actually know until yesterday!
*He caught it of his mate whose ciggarette he shared!
*I had my MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) vaccinations when I was younger!.
**Could I still get it!!?!?!?
**What should I do!!?!?!?

If you have had your vaccinations being infected is highly unlikely!. It is surprising that your boyfriend has got it because its rather uncommon!. If you have any of the symptoms get yourself checked but without syptoms and having had the vaccination most doctors will dismiss your case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your fine if you got the vaccine for it!. The only thing that you might want to do as a procaution is to go to the Dr and tell them what happened!. They will order a blood test to make sure the shot is still doing it's job in protecting you and get you the results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think that if you have MMR vaccination you would't have to worry, anyway mumps is transferded by saliva!.
