you can take an over the counter medication like benedryl (one that just says allergy, not cold and sinus) along with some advil to reduce any swelling that you might have!.
then, you can try some over the counter hydrocortizone cream, but it probably wont be concentrated enough if you have really bad hives!. you might want to call/visit your doctor, and he/she can perscribe some prescription strength hydrocortizone cream that will work MUCH better!.
in the future, you can just take any antihistamine (over the counter, whatever) like benedryl, claritin, zyrtec, etc!. before you are around cats so you dont get hives!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
