Chest pain & anxiety?!


Question: Chest pain & anxiety!?
This morning I suddenly got an excruciating pain in my chest!. My chest felt really tight and hurt trememdously!. It only lasted a few minutes, I used my inhaler and it felt better!. I have NEVER had chest pain like this before!. I have mild asthma and have been very stressed out lately!. Could it have been an asthma attack!? or anxiety!? I had no other symptoms and have been fine all day other than being very tired and a little achey!. I also noticed that when I was having the chest pain, i took my pulse and it wasnt fast but seemed to skip a beat every couple beats, but now its fine!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This can happen from stress, anxiety, lack of sleep, and dehydration!. Make sure you drink enough water and catch up on your sleep!. When I used to work a job and go to school I used to have chest pains every day!. Now that I'm a housewife I never have any chest pains hardly!. So you may just be living a life that you don't actually want to be leading and that is hurting you inside!. Try to meditate and talk long walks and eat right and try to spend more time with friends!. I found that smoking has no relationship to chest pains!. It's all about stress, dreading your job, hating the way you are being treated, and feeling forced to deal with stuff that causes it in my case anyway!. Irregular heartbeat implies lack of sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is probably just anxiety, but just to be sure, you should make an appt with your doctor and explain what happened!. He/she may know from your symptoms that it was not a heart attack!. The doctor can also run a blood test to tell if it was a heart attack or not!.

If it is something else, then the doctor can help you treat it so that you don't have to go through that terrifying experience again!.

When you get anxious your body tries to recoil into itself, curl up, this causes pains in your chest muscles!. Tiredness also are symptoms because you want to get away from the situation, go to sleep!. Try to completely relax with good thoughts of happier times!. Easier said than done I know but if you do you'll find the pains will subside!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like anxiety or a mild panic attack, I have suffered with this most of my young adult life!. It seems very real as if you're having a heart attack or that something is physically wrong!. Definitely sounds like anxiety!. Next time you have one of these attacks, focus on your breathing!. Take slow, deep breaths!. This always helps my anxiety attacks!. If you continue to have them, see your doctor so you can get on a low dose of anti-anxiety medicine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
