I've just got my first ever one!.!. I'm 15!.!. and I am really hoping they don't occur that often!. I know everyone is different but how often do you get them!?

I get them after my lips get sunburned!. As long as I drink plenty of water and use sun protection outside I really don't get them that often!. Maybe five a year!. I use to get them a lot but I used this chapstick that had lysine in it you get from the health food store, and that made it so I got them a lot less and they are smaller now!. Sorry cold sore suck and they hurt really bad!. In the meantime you can use ice so they feel better and don't look as bad!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

but i just wanted to tell you, it's not just from kissing!. you can get them from drinking after people, sharing a lollipop, pipe or cigarette, or joint, umm!.!. shaking hands with someone who's been touching their face who has it, then touching your face!.
also you can spread it to "down there" if you're not careful, make sure you wash your hands before and after you go to the bathroom while the sore is there just to make sure that you don't have any leftover germs on your hands!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are a virus!. You usually get them from another person, people often get them from kissing someone that has one!. When you start to get one take lysine and it will help it to go away before it gets very big!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i get cold sores maybe four times a year!. sometimes on my tongue or on the corners of my mouth!.!.!. just try not share cups of water, straws, kissing, touching doorknobs then your face, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
