Answers:
Mono is an insidious illness that takes between 6-8 months to fully recover from provided you don't acquire a secondary infection!. You've stated that you have and that could put you full recovery back to around December!.
Since Mono is caused by a virus the only treatment is supportive maintenance for your body!. Keep properly hydrated by drinking plenty of water and juice!. Try to stay away from caffeine if you can!. Eat regular meals and include green leafy vegetables!. Do low level exercises especially walking a few days a week!. But don't forget to get enough rest!. If you feel like you need a nap, take one!. Finally, stay away from everyone that has a cough or cold symptoms!. With your weakened immune system you will be a germ magnet for a while and only by avoiding them will you keep from getting another infection!. Trust me on this stuff I just had the crud in April and know exactly how you feel!. Hang tight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mono can affect you for years or the rest of your life!.
I got it around 1976 and had effects like you are experiencing up to 1993!.
I would get so tired from nothing, there were times I would just be sitting there and fall asleep from 6:00 PM and not wake up until the next morning!.
The worse of it finally left, and about every so often I feel tired even though I haven't done anything!.

I've heard it is worse on you when you get it when you are older, past teen years!.!.!.I really don't know about that for sure!.
I think it might take it's toll on people in different stages, but for the most part, it makes everyone tired that gets it!.
Also, I think it effects your immune system where you easily pick up virus's such as you have described!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yea because mono is a viral disease which means that it never goes away and it will stay dormaint in your bodyWww@Answer-Health@Com
