Question: Ok, i have a question about tetanus vaccination/infection!?
Last sunday i scraped my wrist on something at a baseball diamond (a bleacher or something, nothing looked rusty, it was either the bleachers or a picnic bench) and i was wondering if i could possibly get tetanus
last year i stepped on a nail and got some shots when i went in to the hospital, would that include a vaccine and more importantly am i safe from the previously described story!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You more than likely received a tetanus shot last year!. They usually ask if you've received one within the last 5 years and if you're not sure, they will give you one!. So, I would assume you are fine but call the hospital and have them check so you are sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It doesn't have to be rusty to get tetanus!. And yes the shot you received when you stepped on a nail was the tetanus!. Tetanus vaccines last for 10 years!. Even if you didn't get the vaccine, you are fine!. REaly doubt youd gettetanus from a scrape, you have to get a deep cutWww@Answer-Health@Com
