Does the antibiotic cipro contain sulfur in any form?!
Question: Does the antibiotic cipro contain sulfur in any form!?
Answers:
Ciprofloxicin itself does not contain sulfur!. Its empirical formula is C17H18FN3O3, so it contains carbon, hydrogen, fluorine, nitrogen and oxygen!.
Having said that, the stuff that binds it together to form a pill could possibly contain sulfur but it probably doesn't!. No guarantees though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Cipro is an antibiotic in the cephalexin family and has no relation to the sulfa drugs which are in the sulfonamide family!. However, the cephalexins *are* similar to the penicillin drugs and if one is allergic to penicillin, one must then be very cautious about taking Cipro!.
