Depends on what is being imaged for the PET !. !. a full body scan (head to toes) can cost up to $7000!. US dollars !. !. while a CT/PET combination costs a bit less at $3000!. It also depends on the state and even the hospital or clinic where this is done!. Insurance will generally pick up the total cost of the PET!. Yes, I had one done last year!. The cost was $3,500!. My insurance company only paid $1800 though and I had to pay a $75 copay!. Someone not having insurance would have been hit up for the whole $3,500!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
