I really dont have much more to add other than yes, you do need to see a dr!. as it is a bacterial infection, that only goes away with antibiotics!. This can be very severe- can lead to temporary or in extreme cases- permant BLINDNESS!! Please, your eyes are NOTHING to mess with- go to the dr!. Could you imagine NEVER being abble to see again, over something that was 100% preventable!? There is alot of things that you can treat on your own, at home, but this is NOT one of them!. I would hate to see how you would be if you went bling- being that you caused it!. Please, oh please, see your dr!. If finances are an issue- there are free clinics that you can go to!. Use a different compress for each eye, and use a clean compress for each application!.

Sorry but you are going to have to go to the doctor!. Pink eye is a bacterial infection of your eye and requires a prescription for antibiotics!. Pink eye is highly contagious as well so you should go to the doctor as soon as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
