How to Prevent Bloody noses during allergy season?!

Question: How to Prevent Bloody noses during allergy season!?
I've always had bad allergies and have tried many medications!. Most medications dry up my nose and after a sneeze or two, my nose will bleed because it is so dry!. Lately it has bled 5-6 times in the last few days!. I've tried pinching my nose when sneezing and that hasn't helped much!. What type of vitamins or lotions or solutions are out there!? Can you use a lotion for the inside of your nose!? Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
They make an over the counter thing for allergies called sinus rinse!. Its the same idea as the nettie pot if you have ever heard of that!. I started using the sinus rinse and dont have to take any drying meds for my seasonal allergies!.
You fill the bottle with warm water and the salt packet and squirt it up your nose (gross I know!) it rinses all the mucous and allergens from your sinuses!. I promise you try it for a week and you will never get a nosebleed or have to take an allergy pill again!. Plus its much cheaper!Www@Answer-Health@Com

How do you prevent the nose from bleeding again!?

Go home and rest with head elevated at 30 to 45 degrees!.

Do not blow your nose or put anything into it!. If you have to sneeze, open your mouth so that the air will escape out the mouth and not through the nose!.

Do not strain during bowel movements!. Use a stool softener (for example, Colace)!.

Do not strain or bend down to lift anything heavy!.

Try to keep your head higher than the level of your heart!.

Do not smoke!.

Stay on a soft, cool diet!. No hot liquids for at least 24 hours!.

Do not take any medications that will thin the blood [aspirin, ibuprofen, clopidogrel bisulfate (Plavix) or warfarin (Coumadin)]!. If these have been prescribed by your physician, you need to contact them regarding stopping these medications!.

Your doctor may recommend some form of lubricating ointment for the inside of the nose (see below)!.

If re-bleeding occurs, try to clear the nose of clots by sniffing in forcefully!. You can temporarily use a nasal decongestant spray, such as Afrin or Neo-Synephrine!. These types of sprays constrict blood vessels!. (NOTE: If used for many days at a time, these can cause addiction and do not use if you have high blood pressure!.)

Repeat the steps above on how to stop the common nose bleed!. If bleeding persists, call the doctor and/or visit to the emergency room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat some jello! Gelatin is a very old product and was popularized during the Victorian era, when they started serving it in elaborate jelly moulds!. The name brand JELL-O dates back to 1897!. The gelatin actually comes from the collagen in cow or pig bones and connective tissues!. I think now tho you can buy it vegan friendly!. Could be the collagen that helps!. An adequate supply of vitamin C is necessary to form collagen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
