It will hurt if the blisters burst as there will be raw skin underneath - so you can get them wet but please be careful when you are drying with a towel etc as you may burst them - get a good after sun or calamine lotion and put in the fridge - this has a cooling effect and will help the sunburn - also make sure you apply a high enough SPF cream and apply it often to preven skin cancer from UV rays - getting sunburn now a days can be v!.dangerous - I hope they get better soon xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com
you should be bathing them in tepid water regularly!. You have a serious burn!. There is such a thing as sun cream!
Do not pop the blisters as you risk infection!. Keep covered up in the sun as you can burn on top of a sunburn!. Which will damage the skin even deeper down!. applying a cold flannel regularly will bring the pain and sting into line!. Do not listen to he nonsense of having a hot bath or shower to take out the sting!. You wouldn't pour hot water on a scald!. See your g!.p to check if you need specialist treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A pharmacist in Florida told us to bathe burnt area with cold water with white vinegar added!. The vinegar is antiseptic and takes out the sting!. You could soak a flannel in this and lay it on your shoulders to take out the sting!. If they look in the least infected go to your GP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
