Answers:
Yes, it's possible to be allergic to one type of oranges and not to another!. On the other hand, it is not necessary that it was allergy!. Maybe it was only a strong lip reaction, maybe to some chemical (possibly from orange peel)!.

They are two types of food allergy: immediate type (symptoms appear within an hour) and a delayed type, where symptoms appear after several hours!.

You can have a test: put a part of that orange or orange peel on a lip for a while and then observe what happens!.

To be sure, you should go to the doctor and have a skin test - they inject a small amount of pre-prepared orange sample under your skin and monitor the skin reaction (which, if positive, is a red bump of a certain size)!.

Most often allergies in children are to: soy, cow's milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts and tree-nuts

In adults: to fish, shell-fish, peanuts and tree-nuts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be possible that you are allergic to blood oranges and not regular oranges!.

See an allergy expert if you're not sure!. :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
