I had this problem as a child and i can tell you from my personal experience!. When you scab up, its not truly healing!. The doctor will tell you to rip the scabs off and he will give you a cream to apply!. I know this must sound stupid, we were all taught that if it scabs it must be healing!. In this case not true!. Under neath that scabbing all the poisons are accumulating, staying in one place!. Go to your doctor!. I was climbing a tree as a little girl and i fell off, landing face first into poison ivy!.
