Question: Does anyone have any info on Blue and red light surgery!?
I was reading about it on wikipedia and was just wondering how much it would cost w/ or w/out insurance, etc!. and what about the price!? how long wud I be in pain after doing this!? Is there any pain!? What about what i wud be looking at after surgery!? THANKS EVERY1!

If you're talking about PhotoDynamic Therapy using ClearLight/BlueLight for acne, a series of three to four treatments is usually required!. OHIP (I think that's the name of the Canadian insurance system) doesn't usually pay for it (yet)!. It's not really "surgery", and it requires about a week to 10 days for full recovery, but the most serious peeling, redness, and sensitivity are over about five days after each treatment!. Yes, there is some mild pain (not much, really -- just some very brief, intense heat while the you receive the treatment)!. There's not really any post-treatment pain !.!.!. just a lot of peeling, redness, and scaling (which is the healing process)!.
