Does THC cure cancer?!

Question: Does THC cure cancer!?
THC to cure skin cancer!?
Well, not just skin cancer!. It has been documented, even videotaped(www!.sethgroup!.org) that THC from the cannabis plant attacks cancerous and mutated cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed!. Doesn't that make you wonder why the american and canadian cancer society won't even look into this plant that has been used in medicine for over ten thousand years!? If you would like to see what i am talking about to judge for yourself because i trust you to not take my word for it!. http://video!.google!.com/videosearch!?q=ru!.!.!. It is your duty to question the government!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I bet it just makes the cancer cells too lazy and confused to proliferate!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The most logical reason that it reduces the growth of cancer cells is it has been proved THC shrinks blood engorged growths, by shrinking the blood vessel supply to the growth!.

Sadly and unfortunately it also does the same thing to the human brain!.

Now if they could develop a delivery mechanism that delivered the THC directly to a specific organ or cell structure just like a virus attaches to a cell to invade it, then they would have a winning combination!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO, it does not cure cancer!.

Beyond that, the American gov and the FDA both recognize the medicinal properties of thc, the legit ones such as an apetite stimulant, antienemic, pain relief, short term use for anxiety!. As they have an exact replica that they charge 10-15 times the street equivalant for!.

Its called marinol!.

Its is an exact synthetic replica, avail for legal rx nation wide!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies!.

the researchers do not know why THC inhibits tumor growth, they say the substance could be activating molecules that arrest the cell cycle!. They speculate that THC may also interfere with angiogenesis and vascularization, which promotes cancer growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, that's just a salt n pepper music video!.

they do use marinol to treat chemo induced nausea and anorixia though!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK, in order to be completely fair I watched Run from the Cure again - I watched it last time you asked this question and the time before!.

My conclusions are the same:

I saw a number of unsubstantiated testimonials - no way of knowing if these people had ever had the conditions they claimed, and certainly no way of knowing if they'd been 'cured'!.

But I'll accept they had those conditions!. And as I've had cancer, the ones who'd had cancer were the ones to whom I paid most attention!. And you know what!? - they'd had conventional treatment too, but had chosen to credit the hemp oil with the improvement in their condition!.

This often happens with alternative treatments - a patient has chemo and feels crap, because chemo makes you feel crap!. After the chemo is over, s/he takes some 'alternative' medicine; soon s/he begins to feel better!. Well, that's no surprise, you do begin to feel better when chemo is over!. But s/he chooses to give the credit for feeling better, and for subsequent improvements in her/his condition, to the unproven alternative rather than to the conventional treatments, which have been rigourously tested and proven in double-blind clinical trials!.

And that's what's happened here!.

I had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy four years ago for an aggressive, advanced cancer; I am fit and well, with no sign of cancer at my last routine check-up!. Chemo and rads aren't perfect, far from it; but we know because they have been tested and proven that they save many lives and prolong many others!. The cancer patients in the film are fit and well following conventional treatment too!.

And anything that claims to cure everything from cancer to weight problems to insomnia has to be regarded with suspicion at bestWww@Answer-Health@Com

The American and Canadian Cancer Societies are not government run !. !. they are charities run primarily by volunteers !. !. and would gladly look into any relevant 'cure' for cancer as they have nothing financial to lose or gain!.

ACS: Marijuana

You are confusing the ACS with the US National Cancer Institute which is a legitimate cancer research facility funded by tax dollars!. (Institute of Cancer Research in Canada)

If there is any effiacy in THC that will benefit cancer patients than research and clinical trials using humans will be conducted and documented to provide evidence!. At the moment research is taking place in labs and with mice !. !. and results do not automatically translate to use with very sick patients with hundreds of different types of cancer!.

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of Clinical Trials taking place for various types of cancers using different or new drugs solely or in combinations to test effectiveness on hundreds of different types of cancer!. If THC shows any promise at all than it would show up in human clinical trials where patients could be monitored and evidence documented to prove it works or not!. Unsubstanciated claims will remain unprovable until those clinical trials take place!. Cancer is one disease that does not allow the patient to make any treatment mistakes !. !. you get one chance because the cancer is growing so fast !. !. why risk experimenting on an unknown substance when other treatment has documentation already!.

Cancer treatment should not be political!. I'm no fan of government organizations, but perhaps it should be your duty to check facts before spreading misinformation !. !. doesn't that make you biased and untrustworthy and just as bad as any government!?

My son used medical marijuana for nausea during his cancer treatment and did not like it as well as the other drugs offered!.
It was no big deal!.
