Hey there,

Im from Dublin!.

Firstly, In regards to locating a GP!. Check out www!.goldenpages!.ie, type in gp in the 'what are you looking for' box and specify your location!. You will find plenty of doctors within your area!. Phone up the doctor of your choice and ask can you make an appointment (some GP's are full up and are not taking on any new patients so you may have to ring a couple of GPs before you get an appointment!.)

Also, even though you pay taxes etc!.!. you will have to pay to see the doctor, this usually costs between E40 - E60!. (free health care is only for people that are on social welfare or very low incomes and have a medical card)!.

Once you have made the appointment, simply tell the GP your concerns, He/She will of course examine you and if they are concerned about the lump, they will send you to a hospital for tests etc!.!.

I know this probably seems over-whelming for you, especially that your in a different country, but PLEASE PLEASE do it!. Make the appointment and go!. It most like is nothing to worry about, only a very small percentage of testicular lumps turn out to be cancerous, but the fact is some do and if its caught early, its has one of the highest survival rates!.

The GPs are very understanding and you must understand that they deal with this kind of thing every day, so dont be embarrased or have reservations, please go!.

If you need further help in locating a GP or that, email me!.

Best of luck, Hope everythings ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not in Ireland but this is what you should do!. Find the GP closest to where you live (they have specific areas for their patients)!. Go to this link to find your nearest GP, or look in your local phone book (or ask somebody you work or live with)

Call the GP and tell them you want to register as a new patient but that you have an urgent problem and need to be seen as an emergency!. A lump on the testicle is not something you should ignore, as testicular cancer is quite common in young men and you need to get it looked at quickly!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son had a lump which turned out to be harmless but their is a RISK that it may be testicular cancer and you must IMMEDIATELY get an appointment at a Doctors!. If you do not have a Doctor go to any hospital outpatient department!.

I lost a friend to this disease, he was just seventeen!.

Go and see a Doctor PLEASE!. Found early, it can be treated!. I do hope it harmless, all the best to you !!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would love to check it out for you xWww@Answer-Health@Com
