Answers:
The most common side effects with medication for Heart burn, belching, and acid reflux containing ranitidine (Zantac being one of them) are Dizziness and Fatigue!. If they are serious you should stop use and contact your doctor!. Have you tried an Antacid first!? This is preferable as it contains a base that neutralises the acid that is already present in the stomach!. With the symptoms you described, this does not seem to be an allergy!.

However, if the following side effects occur this is a sign of an allergic reaction!. Stop using Zantac and get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat!. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

*

chest pain, fever, feeling short of breath, coughing up green or yellow mucus;
*

easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness;
*

fast or slow heart rate;
*

problems with your vision;
*

fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash; or
*

nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)!.

This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur!. Tell your doctor about ANY unusual or bothersome side effects!.
