What does high blood pressure mean?!


Question: What does high blood pressure mean!?
When I went to the doctors to find out why I was getting a lot of headaches he took my blood pressure and he said it was just a BIT high, he did it again and it was a bit high again, I'm going for another blood pressure test to see if it was a one off, but I was just wondering what does it mean if you have high blood pressure!?

I don't have headaches anymore and I'm only 16!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are overweight or in poor health, take this as a wake up call that you need to do something about it!.

Blood pressure is a measure of how hard the blood pushes against the walls of your arteries as it moves through your body!. It is normal for blood pressure to go up and down through out the day but if it stays up you have high blood pressure (hypertension)!. It can run in the family, it can be because of to much salt (sodium) in your diet lack of exercise, being over weight a number of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to eat better stay away from junk food , exercises!. I'm a nurse and I see alot of people in dialysis that didn't take care of them self with high blood pressure and diabetics!.
