Okay, first off take a benadryl right now!. All you described was itching!. If you are having any other symptoms like nausea, swelling, red streaks from the bites, trouble breathing etc then you need to seek medical help immediately!. If not then take the benadryl and get some hydrocortisone cream!. Are you sure it was from a spider!? It is bizarre that it did not wake you while you were being bitten!. Wow!. The proper treatment really depends on which kind of spider bit you, if in fact that's what it is!. Make sure you know for sure that it's a spider bite(s) and try to capture one (safely) so that it can be identified!. Different spiders have different kinds of poison/toxins which require different kinds of treatment!.
43 bites sounds a bit extreme, even for a very angry (lol) or frightened spider!. Spiders usually bite once or slightly more in defense--they don't feed on you!. Spiders usually travel alone and therefore will bite defensively alone--not in groups!. So, i'm inclined to think that it might be something else, such as allergic reaction to anything including foods and medicines, mosquito/fly bites, flea bites, bacterial/viral infection, even an STD!. Also, was anyone else in your household affected similarly!?
If you think that it's some other kind of insect, obviously find out the source and get rid of them or cover any entrances to your house where they might be getting in!. Mosquitos can carry diseases so be careful with that!.

It could be scabies which is know to itch and can be highly contagious!. It will need treatment with a prescription medicine!. IIf it is scabies or lice you will also need to treat your bedclothing and clothes, and any other materials such as those or it will just come back!.
It doesn't sound like spiders if there are that many!.

Yikes! I know the feeling, well maybe not the exact feeling!. But I had poison ivy on my legs two summers in a row!. But if I was in your situation I would make sure those bites were covered with medicine and bandages!. I hope you don't have to deal with those 43 spider bites much longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
to help the itching i would go to a store and get some itching cream and these 43 bites can be from a mosquito if u were outside and if u have a dog they could be flea bites well whatever bit u 43 times the itching cream will helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
