at first when I read your question, I thought - what an insensitive person you were - then I read further!. I am in remission, so here's another to add to your list - my cancer was not brought about by my lifestyle - it just 'was', and can still 'be' - the thing is, to remain supported, informed and checked out - no matter how trivial people think their symptons may be - a minor ailment actually saved me and got my cancer detected early!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does seem like there is a rise in cancer rates however whether this is due to a rise in the number of cases or whether it is due to an increase in diagnosis because of advances in medicine is hard to know for sure!. Many scientists believe that we all have cancerous cells within our bodies which develop into the disease for some and not others!. The fact that we are exposed to many toxic chemicals no doubt plays a major role in the development of many cancers, we are still learning about the risks to this day!. We can do what we can to minimize the risks to ourselves by eating organic, and avoiding the use of chemicals in any form!. Unfortunately this does not ensure that you will not develop cancer at some point in your life but staying healthy and strong will no doubt help in the prevention of many cancers or will significantly increase your chances of survival if it is to develop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know what you mean!. An old neighbor had breast cancer, then after we moved I found out I had it and a month later our new neighbor found out she had a reoccurance of cancer and my landlady just found out that she has lymphoma!.
Up until 5 years ago the only person I knew with cancer was an ex brother-in-law who died of a brain tumor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You make it sound like it's something easy to avoid!.

Cancer is brought about by many different things, most particularly lifestyle!. The more unhealthier we as a society become the more commonplace it will be to know (or even be) a person either suffering or recovering from cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is, unfortunately, a very common disease!. In the country I live in, 1 in 3 people get cancer before the age of 75!. It's scary when you start to observe it all around you, I agree!. It makes you more aware of your own mortality!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
