Question: Do you know how to get rid of Pink Eye!?

There are different types of pink eye (Conjunctivitis) - allergic, irritant, viral, and bacterial!. Depending on which type you have - therapy can be different!. However, here's a home remedy that helps treat & relieve most all types:
1!. Wash your hands thoroughly!.
2!. Wash your eye out with warm water!.
3!. Use a warm salt water towel compress: heat a 1 tsp!. salt w/ 1 cup water in the microwave until just hot (1- 2 min!.); take a small towel (or corner of bath towel) & dip into salt water mixture (squeeze excess water from towel back into cup)!. Close infected eye & apply towel w/ very light pressure!. Keep on closed eye area for about 10 min!. & repeat (i!.e!., dip towel in salt water & reapply to eye) until salt water is gone (reheat water if it becomes cold)!. You can relax while doing this (e!.g!., lay down on bed, prop your feet up, etc!.)!.
4!. Eye drops - use eye drops (anti-allergy or moisturizer types are best)!.
5!. Use a warm wet cloth to remove any "crust" that forms around the eye (esp!. upon waking up) & again, wash your hands thoroughly while treating pink eye!.
6!. Avoid contact with other people if your pink eye is contagious (viral &/or bacterial) & make certain to practice extra good hygiene!. If due to an allergy or irritant - your conjunctivitis isn't contagious - you might benefit from an OTC allergy medication (& extra good hygiene) :-)!.
7!. Do Not Rub Your Eyes (even though it can be very tempting)!. Use the above method if itchiness, burning, etc!. becomes noticeable!.
Do the salt water eye compress at least 2 times per day!. You should notice immediate relief & all symptoms should resolve within a week (give or take)!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

unfortunately, you have to go to the doctor!. i had pink eye a few years ago and i was in the same predicament!. it is like some sort of weird fungus or bacteria and they don't sell anything over the counter as far as i know!. you could try going to one of the free clinics and the could probably prescribe you some generic brand - that would save you at least some money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Omg just go to the emergency room!. I don't have insurance either!. I had it last summer and waited 3 weeks until I went!. I tried all the remedies!.My eye would swell shut!. It caused tremendous pain and irritation!. Now I have a lazy eye from it!. The drops the prescribe are only like $6!. YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DR!. IMMEDIATELY!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
you canlet the infection runs it course!. but it will be painful and could just get worse!. it would be worth it to just go to the emergency room and get the antibiotic!. it will be expensive, but worth it!. you should also consider getting insuranceWww@Answer-Health@Com
