What is the percentage among different races that are naturally immune to AIDS?!
Question: What is the percentage among different races that are naturally immune to AIDS!?
I've heard that a minute percentage -may- have natural protein resistance that prevents HIV from developing into AIDS, and that this varies from race to race!. Does anyone have reliable statistics on this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There has been no clinical trials done on this because that would mean that they would have to test a lot of people and that would cost a lot of money!.
I can tell you that it is mostly people of European decent that ancestors were living in the time of the Black Plague!. The individuals that survived developed T-cells with only two receptor sites on them and HIV needs three sites to pass along its RNA!. This means that HIV cannot replicate itself in a person with this mutation!.
Keep in mind that just because you are of European decent does not mean that you are Caucasian!. Some (most) people get that all mixed up!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
