I need some help.?!

Question: I need some help!.!?
My daughters blood sugar has stayed between 51 and 80 all day , even after eating and drinking her juice!. I even gave her 6 ounces of sweet tea to bring it up, and then again another 6 ounces!. What could cause her sugar to stay low even after giving her a sugary substance!. Its not because of too much insulin because she has only been corrected once for her carbs!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was six years old when I was diagnosed and there were a number of things that caused my sugar to stay consistently low throughout the day!. One was the sun!. For whatever reason, playing with my girlfriends out in the sun always caused my sugar to drop so in the summer months I actually reduced my insulin by one cc (Regular/Humalog insulin)!. Also, exercise is a huge factor!. Orange juice works great!. I love OJ and it would unfortunate if she didn't because it works so well!. Things like iced tea, or Kool Aid do not work as fast because they lack natural sugar and you tend to have to drink more of the artificial stuff which can cause you to feel nauseous!. Try giving her a glass of OJ and see how that works for her!. You can email me at uholdmeup@yahoo!.com if you ever need any advice!. I know from experience that my mother was a mess when I was first diagnosed!. Don't worry though!. She will be okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to wonder whether "sweet Tea" is the right or wrong way to go!. 70 to 80 are normal range for blood glucose!. If your daughter has had a diagnosis of diabetes or low blood glucose (hypoglycemia), then a physician should be monitoring any abnormal values along with you - as a team!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
