Question: Could I have pin worms!?
I'm 23 and am experiencing some itching around my rectum!. I am in constant contact with children, but none of them seem to be having this problem!. I am a mother and in the process of giving birth, I also gave myself a hemmorrhoid, which has been inflammed for hte past few days, with all of the itching and pain involved!. But now the inflammation is gone, but the itching is still around, keeping me up all night!. I tried the tape test, but couldn't see anything on it even with the magnifyer!. Am I just being paranoid!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have pin worms!. The eggs are what is usually visable on the tape, but they are usually diagnosed with a microscope!. If you are worried, you could use Pin-x!.!.!.it's an over the counter med for pin worms!. Just be sure to wash your linens and and anything that could have come in contact with the worms in hot water!.

Yes!. You are just being paranoid! I had hemmoroids after giving birth (well, still have them really!.!.!.) and they seem to itch the most after the swelling goes down and they begin to heal!. Keep your self clean down there and try witch hazel pads rather than ointments!. It will likely feel less itchy in a couple more days!. Learn to poop fast and get off the pot and don't carry heavy stuff in the future because you will find they come back more frequently when you do!.
