Bad UTI/kidney infection; what kind of shot would they give you?!


Question: Bad UTI/kidney infection; what kind of shot would they give you!?
I was diagnosed with a really bad UTI/kidney infection!. The doctor said I had a really bad infection/blood/keystones in my urine!. He said it was most definintely backed up into my kidneys!. He gave me a shot of something in my hip (ouch) to "jump start" the antibotics!. What would that shot be of!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It was probably additional antibiotics!. Drink plenty of water or cranberry juice to help flush the bacteria out of your kidneys and bladder!. Hope you are better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know what the shot could be, but to help out with the antibiotics!. you can draink some cranberry juice!. This helps out tremendously by the type of acid in the juice!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
