You should first learn whether or not you actually have strep throat!. That requires a culture or strep screen test!. If you are an adult, you will most likely recover in a few days with no consequences but would benefit from an antibiotic to prevent the possibility of rheumatic fever or acute glomerulonephritis!.
If you are a youngster, an antibiotic is best!.
If this is not strep throat, your next best option could be (1) do nothing but get rest, drink plenty of water, warm soups and wait, (2) a gentle gargle made from a tiny pinch of zinc gluconate in a cup of warm water!. Many people find zinc lozenges cause the mouth to get tender and they cause strange tastes!. I believe the concentration of zinc should be far, far lower than is found in these lozenges and they contain sweeteners which probably reduce their effectiveness!. Avoid sweets at least till you recover (3) probably nothing is going to make a big difference once you are sick, so prevention is far better!. Keep your fingers out of your eyes, ears, nose and mouth, and face especially if you do not keep your hands washed!. Learn and pay attention to the germ theory!.

Yes it will!. Take 3 pills at a time 2 x's a day and it will start to help on the 3 day!.!.!.

If you had a culture taken and it came back positive for strep, then take antibiotics, not zinc!. Or, don't and when you have a rash covering your whole body, you will know that its scarlet fever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, zinc will help a rash!. Strep throat should be properly diagnosed by a doctor and treated with an antibiotic!. Strep can do serious harm if not treated properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes zinc will help!. if you get the zinc throat lozenges they help sooth your throat and make you feel much better!. zinc is good for any illness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
