not too sure myself but that drives me crazy!. stds don't care who u are promosicous or not!. my bf and i are in a committed relationship to each other for almost 3 years and he ended up giving me herpes over a year ago!. i'm generally a nice person and not promiscuous!.
stds are contagious and seen as "dirty" by some people!. so if u have one then they assume that u are a grosse, promisuous and dirty person!. those people in my eyes are ignorant germaphobes and quick to judge some one that they don't know!. i agree with the first person as well, u made a mistake by not using protection, or didn't know that the person u were with has an std!. u can't tell most of the time if some one has one anyways!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Britt - I think it's unfair that you say that "most people with STD's tend to have no respect and just spread it"!.

I think the whole issue is that the community don't have the right information in regards to STD, especially HIV!. I think a lot of people are scared of the unknown and even today, some still think they can contract HIV via bodily contact - have a look at the boards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

anybody that has unprotected sex can contract an STD!. no matter if it is ur first sexual experience or your 50th time doing the deed!. All it takes is being sexually active with an infected person and not being protected!. Condoms only protect you by a certain percentage, never 100%!.

I agree with the very first person who posted on here!. My thing is this, most people with STD's tend to have no respect and just spread it!. Especially people with HIV!.
