because there are different blood groups!.
blood clot and death may occur if mismatched blood is transfused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

because of the different blood types, a person can have a fatal reaction to the wrong blood!. of the two links below, one talks about transfusions in general and the other about transfusion reactions!.!.!. in case you wanted to read a little more about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is because we all belong to one of four main blood groups - A, B, AB and O!. These groups are designated according to the antibodies they have on the cell surface - Group A blood has Anti - B antibodies, for example, whilst group O blood has neither anti - A nor anti - B!. This fact is very helpful to the blood transfusion service and hospitals, as giving the incorrect blood group to a patient can be fatal, as the antibodies will attack foreign proteins!. For example, if a patient with group A blood is given group B blood, then the anti B antibodies on the patient's blood cell surface will attack the foreign blood cells causing them to clump together, and possibly causing blood clots which can be fatal if the problem is not rectified as soon as the error is noticed!.

Blood group is only one of a group of tests that will be carried out on a blood sample before that blood is given to the patient!. Further information on other tests that will be carried out is available from the hospital, or the blood transfusion service!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

because if you transfuse a different type of blood to someones system, the body will recognize it as a foreign body---the persons blood will attack and reject the transfused products and it may result to some fatal reactions!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you get the wrong blood type, your body thinks it's an invader (germs, etc!.) and attacks the blood!. You'll die!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because of antibodies!. If you receive the wrong blood type, you are likely going to die from shock!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
