First advice!.!.!.go to see your doctor if you're worried!. The doc will probably check your diet eg!. for milk, wheat, caffeine to see if they might affect you!. They will also go through your symptoms carefully and give you the best possible help - there are lots of possible simple causes before looking at anything complex!.

Second, it may be Irritable Bowel (IBS) - very common, just look at http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Irritable_b!.!.!.

I find the best way to ease the pain is to lie down with a very cold towel (wet and squeeze out) on your tummy - put a plastic bag on top of it to stop the bedcovers getting wet!.

Hope that helps - but do go to the doctor (I'm an IBS sufferer and not a qualified doctor!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had some issues with pains in my stomach and upper back after eating certain foods!. It even hurt to breath in too deeply during these episodes!. Although it was mostly caused by the bad stuff (i!.e!. greasy foods, cheese, etc!.) even some healthy things bothered me (i!.e!. cucumbers)!. I would get stomach cramps, diarrhea and nausea!. I went to the doctor and after tests and ultrasound on my stomach, they informed me I had gall stones and had to have my gall bladder removed!. If it is as bad as you say, the best thing to do is go to a Gastroenterologist!. The specialize in the digestive system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have an intolerance to certain foods, or like the last person said it could be ibs!. Don't suffer in silence go and see your doctor!. You can always phone nhs direct, I found them really helpful!.!.!.NHS Direct: 08454647Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you have a really low metabolism!. foods dont digest well and maybe thats why!. or you could be allergie to sugars that could be in your snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be stomach ulcers
or your kidneys not functioning properlyWww@Answer-Health@Com

could be one of many things, but if you notice it getting worse after eating sweets its likely to be the sweets!.

Its likely there is something in the sweets your stomach doesnt like, it could be the sweets are too acidic for your stomach: this would give you pains in your stomach as the acid in the sugar, plus the acid in your stomach which is there to digest your food, combined can irritate your stomach lining and cause you pain!.

If its IBS, I doubt you would have noticed it straight after eating sweets, it would be more likely to happen at certain points in the day/times of the month/if you eat foods which have alot of gass or can create gas such as certain vegetables, wheat and processed carbohydrates (but not sweets)!. Also, you would be getting alot of wind and gas as oppose to a stomach ache!. But do check it out anyway, its impossible to diagnose anyone 100% over the net!Www@Answer-Health@Com
