Question: Should I start Suboxone treatment!?
I've been a methadone maintanence patient for almost three years!. I started at 105 mgs and I am now down to 28!. I've been doing research on Suboxone, and I am wondering if it is going to be right for me!. I've read a lot of personal accounts of suboxone treatment, and though there is a lot of triumphant stories out there, there are also personal accounts of pain and heartache over it!. I'm so sick of being on methadone, but I'm sure I am not ready to completely stop all treatments, for fear that I will relapse!. What should I do!? How expensive is Suboxone treatment!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think if u want to try suboxone, first u should check w/ a dr!. (or two, or more) who knows his/ her stuff regarding opiate addiction & treatment!. i do know it's expensive, and many insurances won't cover it!. prices are like in the $100's, plus the dr!./ psych!. visits' costs!. i hear it's a wonder drug, for those who truly don't want to use opiates anymore!. it completely blocks the effects of opiates, so no matter how much heroin/ oxys/ etc!. u do, u won't get high!. meth is tricky w/ it!. i hear u have to be off meth 3 days before starting suboxone, or else u go into immediate hardcore meth withdrawls!. be careful, and keep doing research on it!. i'll be rooting for ur success!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
