Answers:
don't use peroxide, it takes away the cells you need in order for your ear to heal properly!. alcohol is too harsh!. salt water is very painful and not the right answer!. you should use "Bactine"!. it is in a green and white bottle!. you can find it in the store on the band-aid aisle!. use it 2 times a day!. if get an infection, you should see a doctor instead of treating it yourself!. please don't take herbel medications that you know nothing about - they could cause lots of complications (including death) if you are allergic!. also, your friend could be allergic to the metals in the earring!. try switching to an earring that's made specifically for sensitive ears!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ahhh! you're not supposed to take out an ear piercing for at least 4-6 weeks for an earlobe piercing and 8-12 weeks for a cartilage piercing!. This is called the healing period!. tell her not to change her earrings anymore!. she should apply an antibacterial gel/cream to it everyday in the morning and at night and then rotate it slowly about 10 times!. it might hurt, but that's because it's still raw!. you should also apply antibacterial cream!. and when you both do take it out after a few weeks, make sure you clean the new earrings with an alcohol swab before putting it in!. there are also some ear piercing liquid solutions you can get in any type if drug/pharmacy store like CVS or Walgreens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to rinse it with Peroxide, either with a cotton swab, or just pour a little over the sight of the piercing, three times a day!. If it is not showing any signs of getting better, then she will need to see a doctor, for an Antibiotic!.

If your parents or you do not have any Peroxide or rubbing alcohol, you'll have to go to a drug store or Wal-Mart health supplies section!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT take it out! That's one of the worst things you can do to a piercing!. She needs to leave it in, clean it regularly EXACTLY how the piercer told her to, and don't play with it at all!. If the infection doesn't clear up, she needs to give either her piercer or doctor a call!.

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

clean it as much as you can with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or just the ear cleaning stuff you can buy at claire's!. you're not supposed to take out your earrings for like a month, but make sure you're twisting your earrings and changing them with washed hands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lots of alcohol and take Acidopholus it is a pro biotic found near the vitamins do not take if you are taking antibiotics as it will cause a mild reaction and you will have red rings around your eyes and look like a raccoonWww@Answer-Health@Com

its called ear anticeptic i got it at spencers when mine got peirced !.!.!.!.or over the counter alchol!.!.!.!.when she takes the ring out rub the aclochol on the stick part and then put it in and roll it while inserted in the ear and do it when she wakes up and goes to sleep shoeld go away in a weeks timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

you can treat infected ears with a salt solution - salt and warm water!. if you bathe the ear each day it should get better soon!. also if you go to a jewlers shop or places that they pierce ears, you can buy a special liquid to clean ears!.
hope this helps xWww@Answer-Health@Com

You pierced it yourself!? Bad call!.!.!.
How old are you anyway!? Common sense please!.
You do know that you aren't allowed to take your earrings out until like 5 months after you get them pierced right!?
Clean them thoroughly with rubbing alcohol every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My ANSWER is that at the time I began this typing, there were 17 answers and not one mention of antibiotics, or blood poisoning right next to the brain and eyes! Excuse me, I need to go and sit under a tree for a while!. Regards, Larry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got my ears pierced the first time at walmart and they gave us a bottle of !.!.!. stuff aha and when my ears got infected it cleared it upWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it's a new piercing it might be best to not remove the earring though, It might just be infected because you didn't clean it enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take a cotton ball and just rub over it before u go to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the type of infection at the piercing site sometimes removing the jewlery can cause the infection to get worse !.!.!.by removing the jewlery you are alowing your body to close the "exit" for the infection!. The hole can close up leaving all that drainage nowhere to go!.

Id say leave the earing in keep it clean!. twice a day !.!.!.more will aggervate it!. use a mild antibacterial soap such as dial liquid soap its best!.
wash the area and the peircing by moving the earing around in a circle and slide it in and out (while not removing it) getting it all good and soapy then rinse it the same way!.!.!.make sure you rinse all the soap of completely!.
Its still gonna be sore and gross but this is just the first step!.
now youll want to do a sea salt soak ONCE a day !. take sea salt (a few tablespoons) let it disolve in HOT water make a compress with a CLEAN washcloth and place it on the affected area for 15-20 minutes!.!.!.make sure this is as hot as you can stand it!. this will draw the infection out while disinfecting it!. It will also dry the area up this is why you only want to do it once a day!.If this does not help after 3 -4 days you can try neosporin but only as a last resort!.
If it still doesnt clear up see your Dr!. for antibiotics!.

Peroxide is the last thing you want to get anywhere near your piercing rubbing alcohol as well!.!.!.both destroy healthy skin tissue creating longer healing times!. AND they are very very drying which is damaging!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
