This is not a respiratory condition but a brain condition!. We have several lobes, and I suspect that you or that other person took a blow to the Right forehead/temple area!. (near the ear) The atrophy shows that part of the brain in that area has died!. There is a fluid-filled open area inside the temporal lobe and, due to the loss of tissue from the damaged part of the brain, this space (called a ventricle) has expanded!.
I used to ride motorcycles when I was younger!. But I always wore a helmet!. And as I see more and more motorcycle trauma victims, I have less and less desire to resume riding a motorcycle!. BTW!. Most motorcycle/deer victims aren't survivors!. The deer either wins outright, or at least, gets its revenge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
