Answers:
1!.8 TSH is very good!. The range your doctor has mentioned is also right!. Some doctors go as high as 4!.5 which believe is too high!. If you still think that you are suffering from the symptoms of an under active thyroid, you should try making some changes to your diet and keep going to the doctors every 3-6 months to check that the levels have not increased!.

It is very common to find out the results of your TSH and still feel the symptoms of hypothyroidism like tiredness, weight gain, hair loss etc!.

All else fails, try getting a second opinion from another doctor!.
Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think poster number one is totally correct, and I want to add that you should also look to see if you have any thyroid antibodies, because all my tests were coming back as normal, but I had hashimotos and I felt lousy!. It makes you feel like you had too much coffee one day and then like youare swiming uphill through glue the next!.!.!.anyway, they did not find out I had it until after I had my thyroid out, and it sure explained alot for me!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
