Could it be herpes?!

Question: Could it be herpes!?
My boyfriend got something he describes as a "rash" in his genital area about 5 days ago!. It's still there and doesn't itch, burn or anything at all!. It is not on his penis, more in the area that connects to the thigh, a little bit of the redness is on his thigh!. I haven't seen it!. But he says there are no pimples, bumps, blisters, warts, etc!. But little red dots!. It's a small area!. He is worried that it's herpes, and if it is he had to have contracted it from me!. He was only with one other girl for 4 years who was a virgin, whereas I've had several boyfriends!. The last time I was with someone else was Nov of last year!. I tested for HIV, Herpes and other STD's in mid-Feb!. and came out negative!. If it was herpes, wouldn't it turn into sores/blisters eventually!?

Is there a chance the test was wrong!? Or that enough time didn't pass between my last partner in Nov for me to contract something (if he had an STD)!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
That doesnt sound like herpes!. Herpes has blisters that break and scab over!. Also if it is herpes he could have gotten them from your mouth if you get coldsores and have given him oral!. It sounds more like a heat rash or maybe even jock itch!. He could also be having an alergic reaction to something like laundry soap or body wash!. Tell him not to jump to any conclusions!. If in doubt go get tested together at a free clinic like Planned parent hood, or something like that!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've got a irritation around my pubic area!. I have went to the docs, got tested, and it also came out negitive!.

I heard that the docs cant detect it unless you have the soresWww@Answer-Health@Com

Below is information about herpes, but it could be heat rash or contact dermatitis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you were previously tested it is not likely you transmitted the disease but there is still a chance!. It may be he is not being truthful with you about his past partners!. I would make an appt with your OB/GYN and be tested for it if you are concerned just to be safe!. It's better to be safe than sorry!. If you can't afford to go to the doctors go to your local health department!. They have free STD testing!. At the least I would definitely not have sexual relations with him again until he has been evaluated by a physician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
