My little brother was born almost four months premature and could fit in the palm of your hand, another one of my brothers was born premature and they don't have cerebral palsy!. Premature babies are more prone but not every preemie has it!. Babies with cerebral palsy are more likely to have a flat forehead and have difficulties learning to walk and talk!. My friends daughter has cp and she can't walk and she's almost two!. She's small for her age and she can't function like a normal child of her age!. You'll most definately notice if your son has it!. Don't over worry yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cerebral Palsy is an injury to the brain caused before, during, or soon after birth!. It can be caused by many different factors!. The only thing that matters is if you child is having problems because of it , and how severe!. In other words if you child is delayed in development, has problems with any motor skills, or has learning disabilities!. The severity can range from very mild to severe!. If you notice that your child is not developing within the normal range, or has other issues that you can not explain, ask your doctor about it!. With Cerebral Palsy the damage to the brain has already been done!. It's not going to get any worse, but proper therapies to address any issues will definitely help!. The earlier the child receives therapy, the better the progress!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a sister and two nephews that were each 2 months early, none of them have cerebral palsy, this is something you should talk to your doctor about!. It also doesn't seem to be only premature children that get it!.
