Sunburn Problems?!?!


Question: Sunburn Problems!?!!?
I have horrible sunburn on the top of my feet, my arms, and my nose and cheekbones! It stings and it burns! It's bright red, and my skin is really sensitive!. I used sunscreen with an SPF of 30 but that didn't seem to help!. Can you guys give me some homemade products I can use to help my skin less painful!? I alredy took a hot shower and used cucumber body wash!. Thanks so much!. [ =Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Make a cool compress of whole milk or light cream on a cloth, and apply it to the burned areas, it's healing and soothing! You might smell a bit sour after so you can use cool water to wash it off when you're done!. Same thing can be done with plain yogurt (not the fat free kind, it has to have the essential fats for healing your skin)!.

That or just over the counter aloe vera gel from the pharmacy!. You can also get skin gels for sunburns with an ingredient called lidocaine, it temporarily numbs the pain :)

Make sure to moisturize!. Aveeno makes a great lotion, I pasted the link below!. It is SO moisturizing and soothing :) It has menthol, so it cools the burnt itchy skin!Www@Answer-Health@Com
