Anyone know about MRSA?!

Question: Anyone know about MRSA!?
I was told a few days ago that I have Community Associated Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus
Or CA-MRSA!.

I was told I most likely got it from when I got my tattoo on my thigh!. The outbreak/infection was contained to the area around the tattoo!.

My doctor wasn't very clear when he answered my questions!.

?Is it possable that I can have MRSA in my Saliva!? [Worried about sharing drinks/kissing anyone]
?Can MRSA be spread through sexual contact even if there's no contact with the infected area!?
? Will I be able to get any more tattoos or piercings in the future!?

I know that these questions may seem silly, but I would like to know the answers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Keep personal items personal!. Avoid sharing personal items such as towels, sheets, razors, clothing and athletic equipment!. MRSA spreads on contaminated objects as well as through direct contact!.

Keep wounds covered!. Keep cuts and abrasions clean and covered with sterile, dry bandages until they heal!. The pus from infected sores may contain MRSA, and keeping wounds covered will help keep the bacteria from spreading!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

these are very important questions!. write them down and return to the doctor!. MRSA is an infection and it is very bad!. You can get it from many things like sharing towels, scratches, touching infected items, and more!. It is very contagious although it is carried in the nose of most people!.If you get it they will usually give a tube of salve to you for evrybody in the house to use!. The bacteria is carried in the nose so they will put the salve in their nose every night!. I knew some people who had that got it all the time, they would take antibiotics for it and the salve!. Plus bleach everything in the house!. You can pass it on easily and from anything even if you get the infection on your shirt you can pass it to another!. Use hand sanitizer alot!. My son got the infection and had it lanced!. Then when he fell it wasn't completely cleaned out so it popped up next to where it was lanced so we had to carry him to get it removed by surgery!. He was in the hospital for a week and we were not allowed to leave his room because he was contagious, anybody who came in had to sanitize their hands right away and anybody who left had to sanitize their hands before leaving!. One woman was scared to come in our room becuase we had the bio hazard signs all over our door!. Not fun!. But since he was in the hospital and it was removed by surgery he never got it back!. The people who only used antibiotics got it back!. I got it once from trying on a pair of sandals in the store!. In the hospital they lanced it and did not remove all of the infection so the next morning when I got up my foot was so swollen that it had turned purple!. When I went to the doctor he said the infection was so bad it would be best if I went in the hospital but i never leave my kids so I refused!. He had me on antibiotics and a strong antibiotic shot as well!. I had to go in everyday to have a shot for almost a week!. This infection is bad and very painful!. Whoever gave you the tatoo must have had an infection or not clean items but I would not use them again!. As far as another tatoo!. It would be no problem, once you are treated and the infection is gone then you are back to normal!. So don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What is community-associated MRSA (CA-MRSA)!?
Staph and MRSA can also cause illness in persons outside of hospitals and healthcare facilities!. MRSA infections that are acquired by persons who have not been recently (within the past year) hospitalized or had a medical procedure (such as dialysis, surgery, catheters) are know as CA-MRSA infections!. Staph or MRSA infections in the community are usually manifested as skin infections, such as pimples and boils, and occur in otherwise healthy people!.

You can prevent spreading staph or MRSA skin infections to others by following these steps:

Cover your wound!. Keep wounds that are draining or have pus covered with clean, dry bandages!. Follow your healthcare provider
