Question: What can I do now to reduce the effects of aging on my skin later in life!?

I am a middle aged woman of 51!. People are shocked when I tell them my age!. They always guess around 30 or 31!. I catch them glancing at me, or they say, 'What'!?!? When I tell them my son is 26!. 'That makes you OLD'!. they say!.

I asked the same question as you did when I was in my 20's!. I avoided the sun like it was a disease!. I moisurized my skin with good quality moisurizers and in my 30's received monthly facials with peeling!.

I eat lightly and healthfully most of the time!. Vegetables even more than Fruit, because Fruit is full of sugar, which is too bad!. But I eat veggies and get my enjoyment from other aspects of life and not food!. Which is too bad!.

I am blonde with blue eyes and very fair skin!.

I never smoked!.

My sister is 6 years younger than me and lived her life in the opposite direction!. Always, without fail, people think she is much older than I am!. Folks my age look!.!.!.well!.!.OLD!

They look all dried out and shrivelled and I honestly am blooming!. I can see it!. My skin is blooming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

-Don't smoke!. The toxins in cigarettes have effects on the skin that cause it to age far more rapidly than that of a non-smoker!.

-Keep yourself hydrated!. If your body stays hydrated, your skin stays hydrated!.

-Always use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer!. You need to keep your pores clean and nourished!.

-EXFOLIATE!. Exfoliate your face and body at least once a week, but no more than twice a week!.

-Use a sunscreen of at least spf 15!. UV rays are extremely damaging to the skin!. You can usually find a facial moisturizer with spf 15 in them!.

-For your body, moisturize daily!.

-EXCERCISE!. You have to teach your skin to stretch!. Having at least 45 minutes of regular exercise at least every other day can keep the collagen and elastin in your skin very flexible!. This causes a resistance to wrinkles and sagging skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know it's all about being tan nowadays,but the sun is like the # 1 skin aging thing out there!.If you absolutely have to be tan get the spray on kind or some other "fake" tan stuff,drink plenty of water cause dehydration will do a number on your skin too!.For sure wear sunscreen,even in the winter or on cloudy days!. 2!. Eye cream, the skin around your eyes are very sensitive to aging

4!. use a face mask one a week

Eat healthy, drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen when outdoors, excercise regularly, don't spend too much time sunbaking, don't smoke cigarrettes, keep caffeine consumption to a minimum, get enough sleep per night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gently clean your face often with a mild soap made just for faces!. Try to stay away from make-up!. The new mineral make-ups are not supposed to damage your skin as much as most make-ups that just glom up your pores!. Do not cover it up - clean it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

cover up!.!.!.sunblock when possible, I heard coconut oil and olive oil work nicely as well!.!.!.also a big factor is moisterizers using the compound retinol!.!.!.this is the only agent proven to fight effects of age damage to skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wear higher spf on your face than the rest of your body, don't rub in your makeup, and if you have to smudge your eyeliner or something smudge inward (toward your nose)Www@Answer-Health@Com
