Question: Relative has herpes!. On arm!? Transmit to my baby!?
One of my cousins has herpes!. She got a blister on her arm and not sure if it was a bug bite or sun blister!. She doens't think it's a herpes sore, but not sure!. She picked up my baby and now he has a pimple on his leg and a small rash on his leg too!. He just started crawling so the rash could be from that!. Is it possible for my baby to get herpes this way!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

herpes on the arm is kind of rare!. it likes moist places like the mouth, eyes, nose or gentials!. it could be a blister from the sun!. if she gets bad sun burns then u can get blister from them!.
if u have carpet a baby can have sensative skin, so the rash and pimple could be from crawling around on that!.
your sister would have to touch the sore then kiss or touch your baby on the face or genitals!. she can't transmit herpes just from picking up your baby!. but if your worried then u may want to get your baby checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Youi don't get herpes on the arm, just doesn't happen!. Shingles will appear as a heavy rash on one side of the body usually on the trunk, again not an isolated spot on the arm!. Sounds like a case of paranoia to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like shingles!. It's a form of herpes!. You can get them if you have had Chicken Pox before!. She cannot pass it on!. It's very painful, and it might get bigger!. i would go to the Dr!. and get some Valtrex!. It will shortened the duration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A draining herpes lesion is very contagious!.
It's not normal to have herpes lesions on your arms!.

It sounds like shingles---you need to take him to the doctor so he can diagnose it and if it is shingles, he may get a cream for you to apply it to his rashes!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
