To check a male for STD's we use a long penile swab that does up your penis!. The swab is then sent to the lab for testing!. Some results are given immediately others take 2-3 days for results!.

They put a Q-tip into your Pe*is, no lie!. I wouldn't know if it hurts but I'm sure its a little painful!. But it's can't be as painful as living with an STD the rest of ur life!. So get tested!!! They also do a blood test to check for HIV although I think they can do a swab of the mouth now to check for that!. GOod LUCK!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
normally they just do a blood test for HIV and syphilis, and you need to pee in a pot for the rest!. only if you have any symptoms will they do a physical examination or need to take any swabs!. it's worth the effort to go though just for peace of mind!Www@Answer-Health@Com
When you ask for an STD test, make sure you ask for a herpes test as well!. They usually do not give a test for herpes unless you ask!. That is usually tested through your blood, unless you have an outbreak and they will swab it!.

a std check is a BLOOD TEST!. go to the dr!. ask for a std blood check!. the dr!. will give you an order marked "std panel" that's all it is!. i never heard anything about sticking things in your penis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
