Canker sores are not the same as herpes!. Herpes is caused by a virus whereas a canker sore is actually an ulcer!.
Herpes causes sores on the outside of the mouth and Canker sores are on the inside!.
If you have frequent ones you could consult a dentist on how to prevent them!. You could be brushing too hard, have a rough surface in your mouth (uneven or rough teeth), or just be prone to biting the inside of your mouth and creating small spots for an ulcer to appear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hopefully not!. If you always have a sore in your mouth you should get it checked out!.!.!.I tend to always bite the inside of my mouth, like the cheeks and it gets tender and I get worried that it could be something but it's not!.
