Scared of getting Fibromyalgia?!
Question: Scared of getting Fibromyalgia!?
I'm a male and have generalized anxiety disorder!. Lately I have been scared that I will get fibromyalgia!. The anxiety is really getting to me and I'm afraid of pain!. I already have upper back neck and arm muscle pain!. No tender points though!. Should I be worried about getting it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have severe fibromyalgia and when I am more anxious my neck and shoulders will hurt more and I think it's true for most people!. I wouldn't agonize about it you'll make yourself tense which can bring on pain!. Lucky for you, your male and FMS is more prone in women!. If you have no tender points or major pain in your chest, your probably just stressed!. See your Dr!. and get educated on both FMS and anxiety disorders!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
my mom has fibromyalgia and yeah, it does hurt but it defenitly depeneds on what weather you live in we used to live where it was cold now we live where it warm and she is feeling sooo much better now she hurts rarely!.!.!. but of course she getts her flair ups were all she wants to do is lay in bed but !.!.!. hey thats life!.!.!.!.srry!.!.!.and good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
my guess would be that your pain is completely related to stress-and you have no underlying condition like Fibromyalgia!.
