My daughter has a fever and a rash?!

Question: My daughter has a fever and a rash!?
Two days ago my daughter came down with a bit of a fever, I noticed it at 100!.3!.!.!. watched it till it hit 101, and I have been giving her tylenol to control the fever as she had no other symptoms!.!.!. that lasted for only about 12 hours, since then she doesnt really have a temp, rather normal!.

Today she started to get small cirgular red spots on her legs, arms and bottom, about the size of a pea!.!.!. she has one on her arm the size of a quarter, but the rest are very small!.!.!. pea sized like I said!.

She has not been in contact with other children except for 4 days ago (I stay at home with her)!.!.!. so I do not think it is chicken pox (10 day incubation period)!.

So she would have gotten the first sign of fever say 48 hours after contact with another child!.!.!.

Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh my i'm sorry to hear that!. But take her to the doctor imeditly!. Especially when shes that young!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Consult your doctor!. Hand-foot-mouth disease suspected!. The usual incubation period is 3-7 days!.

Well you don't have to be in close contact with other children to get chicken pox!. You could have had her at a store where there was an infected child!. My daughter got them at 19 months

but the rash could just be from the fever, because she was obviously fighting something off, rashes are very common and accompany many fevers!.

the rash may not be anything, you should take her to the Dr!. though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok!. Get a normal round drinking glass and run it over her bumps!. If they do not dissapear she may have meningitis!.
In any case, i would advise you see a doctor!.
God Bless!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like chicken pox!.!.!.is she itchy!?

If not, a fever with a rash could be serious!. Take her to the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be wingworms, but you should defiently take her to the doctor now days kids get sick so easyWww@Answer-Health@Com

The answer is obvious, let a doctor have a look on her!.

screw our opinions!. were not doctors and its your baby girl, go to the er or doctor man!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

=o well since the seasons are changing she might have allergies to something

try gettin an allergy test done ,, it might be from some thing in nature outside or maybe from something she ate!.

u shud also make a visit to ur doctor so she can get checked and so he can prescribe medication for her!.

then again the rash might be because of the fever, as the body's reaction against whatever shes fighting off if anything

until then try putting lotion on her if they're itchy or anything
and maybe some wet small cold towels on her feet, and forhead to reliever her from the fever

and if tylenol sint doing it, try finding another type of children's fever relief medicine if there is any!. i cant think of any other,, (not sure) but just make sure u get an allregy test,, and make a visit to the doc!.

hope this helps =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
