I have bipolar and get repetitive thoughts how can i shake them ?!

Question: I have bipolar and get repetitive thoughts how can i shake them !?
Answers:
If not on medication, please talk with a psychiatrist!. Please do call your dr if having these upsetting repetitive thoughts and ask the answering service if he or she can call you back!. If you don't have a psychiatrist, please go to the nearest ER/crisis center as no one wants the thoughts to get out of hand!.

Wondering if a person can have bipolar and another mental health problem such as ocd/obsessive-compulsive disorder at the same time!. I'm not trying to diagnose though I have ocd myself and that can give repetitive thoughts or ideas that cause great anxiety called obsessions and the ritual to try to lessen the anxiety is the compulsion!. The common medication to treat ocd is Not usually used for those with bipolar by themselves as the ssri (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) antidepressants such as prozac, zoloft, paxil and even celexa can actually cause a manic episode in those with bipolar disorder!.

Please do Not self-diagnose or self-treat and/or call your dr or go to the nearest ER!.
