I'm not sure what could be simpler than buying lice shampoo and using it!.
Try pouring green mint scented rubbing alcohol generously on your scalp two or three times a day!.The alcohol sufficates them and they die and fall off!.
Thing is!.!.!.the critters themselves are easy to eliminate, it's the eggs they lay on the hair shafts that re-hatch every two weeks that keep them coming back & back!.
Oil will help with that!. You see, the stuff they use to attach the eggs to the hair only works on clean non-oily hair!.
The reason the ancient Egyptians had such horrible infestations of lice that they wore wigs to try and hide them was, ironically, because they had such a cleanliness fetish that they bathed & washed their hair daily! If they would have let the hair washing go for a week and used oil on their hair every day they wouldn't have had such a time with it!.
Just buy two shampoo treatments!. Use one now and another one in about 10 days!. And use the alcohol daily as well until they quit coming around!.
You should get a brand new hair brush and sanitize it with the rubbing alcohol daily!.

they have special shampoos!.!. at any grocery store or target!.!. i know last year the school my nephew had a horrible breakout and almost all of them got it!.!. it was horrible!.!. but my nephew shampoo'd the hell out of his head!.!.!. he didnt have to go to the doctor!.!.

having had three kids at primary school i found the best thing to do was "tea tree oil" after every hair wash,and to keep them from re- occuring,i also used a nit comb and hair conditioner every 3rd day!. worked a treat and not expensive !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Basically when you use the headlice killer shampoo it does the job, but you may still feel a slight itch - dont worry its a tempoary things (dont know the exact details)

There is no "simple" effective way, those nits stick to the shaft of the hair and have to be removed!. Those sticky casing they are in makes it a pain to comb them out, but that is the only way that I know ofWww@Answer-Health@Com
My little sister had lice once, and my mother poured a bunch of olive oil in her hair and left it in a shower cap overnight!.
